3n² + 3n - 4000=0

calculate the roots of the expression which will give you the value of n

given equation is of the form
an² + bn + c = 0

where a =3, b=3 and c = -4000.

n = (-b + √(b² - 4ac) ) / 2a  (or) 
n = (-b - √(b² - 4ac) ) / 2a

abhilash671584: yes based on the discriminant (b^2) - 4ac. I havent given the full solution as I felt this is some homework or exam content and the students are expected to complete it by themselves.
