Dear Student,
SOLUTION:

If the tube is inserted directly into the stomach of the patient and it's not traveling through mouth and food pipe then no major problem will arise as food pipe doesn't help in the digestion of food in anyway.

But when we eat food in our mouth and chew it for a longer time our food get mixed into saliva, and saliva contains enzymes called salivary amylase which helps in the digestion or you can say that helps in breakdown of sugar to simpler compounds that is in other words salivary amylase digest maltose and carbohydrates are digested after the food reaches stomach and then too small intestine, there carbohydrate is completely digested.

So our answer is that no major problem will be caused if a pipe is directly inserted in the stomach of patient to provide food.
