solve this please(lesson: LINEAR EQUATIONS)
1.find four consecutive odd numbers whose sum is 136.
2.in a class the number of boys is 3/2 times the number of girls.if there are 55 students in the class,find the number if boys and girls in the class?
3.SOLVE the following equations:
i) 5-2(x/3 +1) = 2/3x + 3 - 11x
ii)x-6/4 - x-4/6 = 1 - x/10
4.a number is such that it is as much greater than 94 as it is less than 108.find the number.

Let x be any odd number
the other three consecutive nos should be x+2,x+4,x+6,
By the problem,
x+x+2+x+4+x+6=136
4x+12=136
4x=124
x=31
x+2=33
x+4=35
x+6=37
Total number of students is 55.
Let the no of girls be x
Therefore, no of boys will be 3x/2, according to the problem.
By the problem,
x+(3x/2)=55
5x/2=55
5x=110
x=22
no of girls is 22
no of boys is (3*22)/2= 33.
x-(6/4)-x-(4/6)=1-(x/10)
x-(3/2)-x-(2/3)=1-(x/10)
(6x-9-6x-4)/6=(10-x)/10
-13/6=(10-x)/10
60-6x=-130
-6x=-190
x=190/6=95/3
Let the number be x more than 94 and therefore its x less than 108.
By the problem,
94+x=108-x
2x=14
x=7
The no is-
94+x=94+7=101
0r you can also write it as-
108-x=108-7=101
