Let AB be the perpendicular height of the triangle.

In ΔABD,

Area = base*height = BD*AD

12 = 3*AD

AD = 4cm

Area of parallelogram = base*height=BC*AD = (3+9)*4 = 12*4 = 48cm^2

eklifafa: TOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!GENIUS!!
eklifafa: TOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!GENIUS!!
