given PQRS is a parallelogram
i) PQ = base = 4cm
corresponding height = ST = 8cm
area of PQRS = base * corresponding height
= PQ * ST
=4cm x 8cm ---(1)
ii) another base = QR = 6cm
it's corresponding height = QC
area = QR x QC
= 6cm x QC ---(2)
∴(2) = (1) [ same parallelogram areas]
6cm x QC = 4cm x 8cm
QC = (4cm X 8cm)/6cm
= 16/3 cm
