Since Perimeter = Area
= 2( l + b) = l * b
= 2l + 2b = l * b
Since b = 11/4 cm given ,
= 2l + 2*11/4 = l * 11/4
= 2l + 11/2 = l * 11/4
= 11/2 = 11l/4 - 2l
= 11/2 = ( 11 l - 8 l) / 4
= 11/2 = 3l /4
= 11/2 * 4/3 = l
= 22/3 cm = l
Hence length = 22/3 cm.
