I know but I'm confused in verifying
you have already got x=-9.....First put it in LHS, then in RHS.... Finally compare LHS and RHS... If LHS=RHS, then it will get verified

2x-3x=4+5
-x=9
x=-9
(b)
0.4=y/25+y
4/10=y/25+y
100+4y=10y
100=10y-4y
100=6y
100/6=y
THATS ME
