(a) During interval OA has maximum acceleration.
(b)
Average velocity= total displacement/time
Distance coverd during OA = 1/2×10×4 = 20 m
Distance covered duringv AB = 1/2×10×1 = 5 m + 40 m = 45 m
Distance covered during BC =
1/2×10×2 = 10m + 50m = 60 m
Now, total displacement= (20+45+60)m = 125m
Average velocity= 125/30 = 4.16m/s
