x/3+1/5=x/2-2/4

LHS=x/3+1/5. (since LCM of 3 and 5 is 15)

x/3×5/5+1/5×3/3

=5x/15+3/15

=5x+3/15

RHS=X/2-2/4 (since LCM of 2 and 4 is 4)

=x/2×2/2-2/4×1/1

=2x/4-2/4

=2x-2/4

Therefore , 5x+3/15 is not equal to 2x-2/4

Thanks.

Answer:

x/3+1/5=x/2-2/4

Step-by-step explanation:

x/3-x/2+1/5+2/4=0

2x-3x/6 + 4+10/20 =0

-x/6+7/10= 0

-5x+21/30 =0

-5x=30-21

x=-9/5 = -1.8
