(x-6)(x+7)= x^2 +7x - 6x -42
= x^2 +x -42

(x+3)(x-11)= x^2 -11x +3x -33
=x^2 - 8x -33

compare both as there is "=" between them

x^2 +x -42= x^2 -8x -33
9x = 42 -33
9x=9
x=1

(x-6) (x+7) = (x+3) (x+11)

x(x+7) -6(x+7)= x(x+11) +3(x+11)

x`2+7x-6x-42=x`2+11x+3x+33

x-42=14x+33

-42-33=14x-x

-75=13x

-75\13=x
