let solve the equation
flip the equation
a^2 dx = (x*d*y+y*y*d)
a^2 dx = dxy+dy^2
bring dx on the other side and divide
a^2 =dxy+dy^2÷dx
a^2=xy+y^2÷x
take square root on both side
 \sqrt{a ^{2} } =  \sqrt{xy  + y {}^{2} }  \div x
a=
 \sqrt{x y + y ^{2} }  \div x
