somebody please help me with this question.Take a spoon of salt and dissolve it in water the particles of salt mix with water without any rise in the level

It gets mixed with water without increasing the water level because As particles of matter has spaces between them

As water is liquid state of matter

so the sugar particles occupies the spaces between the molecules of watermark
