Hi, Here is your answer

==================

Sub-category of the peripheral nervous system is the autonomic nervous system which helps in normal working of internal organs by giving smooth glands and muscles.

Functions such as the heart rate, digestion, respiratory rate, pupillary response, urination, sexual arousal and urination is regulated by ANS.

Hypothalamus regulates the Autonomic Nervous System inside the human brain which in turn controls other organs.

Hope it is helpful.......

Autonomic nervous system or ANS controls the activities of internal body organs and is a part of the peripheral nervous system. It can control the internal organs because they are connected with the central nervous with the help of visceral nerves.

Stomach, heart, intestines and muscles are controlled by ANS and it regulates there functions.
