Listening to Problems of Others is a Social Service

Good morning everyone present; I am going to speak on ‘Listening to Problems of Others is a Social Service’. The current, contemporary times are full of stress, tensions, worries, etc. Everyone is stressed. No one has the time to share anyone’s sorrows.

The unsaid griefs and sorrows just keep snowballing. These sorrows if shared are automatically assuaged. So listening to others’ problems de-burdens the heart. Even in psychotherapy this stress is removed by making the patient talk his burden out to the therapist.

So, when you have someone who is willing to talk to or share his/her problems with you, you must give him or her a patient hearing. Who knows your patient listening might lift stress from someone’s heart.

Listening to the problems of others is really a social services.

When you listen to others, they can tell you what they are facing, their problems and share their issues with you.

When you talk to them, and give suggestions or even just listen to them, they feel good and feel really light from inside.
