Answer:

CaSO3( calcium sulphite) is a normal salt formed when CaO( basic oxide) and SO2( acidic oxide) reacts.

CaO + SO2 → CaSO3

(ii) Zinc sulphide (ZnS) is a binary salt which is insoluble in water.

(iii) Zinc Carbonate( ZnCO3) is an insoluble carbonate.

(iv) ZnSO4(aq) + Na2CO3(aq) → Na2SO4(aq) + ZnCO3(s)

Zinc sulphate and sodium carbonate both are soluble salts in water, but the product zinc carbonate is insoluble in water and is precipitated out.

(v) Silver nitrate decomposes when heated and gives silver metal

2 AgNO3(l) → 2 Ag(s) + O2(g) + 2 NO2(g)
