Spider crawls up 5 cm every second on a 60 CM rod and then falls down 2 cm over the next second how many seconds will it take to climb the road ​

Answer:

answer is 40 seconds. the insect goes up by 5 cms in one sec. it comes down by 2 cms in next one sec. therefore distance travelled in 2 sec = 5-2 = 3cms.
