Stars appear to Twinkle due to the atmospheric refraction caused as a result of large distances.

 {\huge {\mathfrak {Answer :-}}}

➡️ Stars are several light years away from us. So, when the star's light is coming towards earth, it may not come properly because in its path there may be several obstacles and also, it has to change its medium, thus there is refraction. So, Stars seem to be twinkling.

That's it..
