Your answer
---------------------

(1) Why road accidents occurring due to high speeds is much worse than road accidents at low speeds?

=> When vehicles move at high speeds , they gain a large momentum as compared to vehicles moving at slow speeds . Due to the large momentum , the collision between vehicles moving at high speeds causes more damage.

(2) When a motorcar takes a sharp turn passenger get thrown to one side?

=> When a vehicle is moving on a straight road , it has inertia of motion. The passengers sitting in the vehicle has inertia of motion and tend continue the position. But when suddenly the vehicle takes a turn , due to inertia of direction the passengers get thrown to one side .
