Sunlight is actually white in colour.

In atmosphere ut follows refraction as well as scattering by the air molecules.

This refraction results for being of light, as well as absorbtion of most light

While Air molecules present in atmosphere results for the refraction and dispersion of light into constituents seven colours. Namely :

Violet
Indigo
Blue
Green
Yellow
Orange
Red.
