State the conditions under which a force does no work

1. When the force is conservative
2. When the displacement is zero (S=0)
W = F.S = 0 
3. When the displacement is perpendicular to the direction of force (theta = 90)
W = FS cos 90 = 0

It means work is not done.but if the object doesn't move, there is still no net work on the object.But whenever you apply force it may not create acceleration but it effects an object.
