loudness of sound is proportional to the sq of the amplitude of the vibration producing sound. so greater amplitude produces louder sound.
Lohith154:
Let's assume amplitude is a. Intensity is I, since a is directly proportional to i ,a/A=i2/I2 or √(a/A)=I/I

Loudness of a sound is directly related to amplitude ,in fact it is the square of amplitude .
So when loudness increases ,amplitude also increases
So when loudness increases ,amplitude also increases
