State the factors on which momentum of a body depends . A body of mass 80kg moving 10m/s collides with another body of mass 60kg moving with 20m/s. If after collision the entangle and continue to move . Determine the velocity after collision .

The momentum depends on the mass of the body and the velocity of the body.

As the linear momentum is always conserved.

m₁u₁ +m₂u₂ =( m₁+m₂)v
⇒80×10 +60×20 = (80+60)v
⇒140v = 2000
⇒v = 14.3 m/s
