(i) Uterus:

  • The uterus functions include nurturing and keeping the fertilized ovum that develops into the fetus until the child is sufficiently mature to be born.
  • The fertilized ovum is implanted into the “endometrium and derives nourishment” from blood vessels developed for this purpose solely.

(ii) Vas deferens:

  • The ‘vas deferens’ is a lengthy, muscular tube which travels to the pelvic cavity just “behind the bladder” from the epididymis.
  • For ejaculation proce, the vas deferens carries ‘mature sperm’ to the urethra, the “tube which carries urine or sperm” outside the body.
