Concept : Addition of vectors

Explanation:

Parallelogram Law of addition of vectors

Let there be two vectors ' A ' and ' B '

According to this law two vectors A and B are represented by two adjacent sides of a parallelogram . Their tails should meet at same point ( See figure in the attachment )

Now the diagonal of the parallelogram through the intersection of two vector A and B will be the resultant of two vectors A and B that is the vector sum of A and B

Resultant ( R ) :

R = \sqrt{A^{2}+ B^{2} + 2ABcos\theta}
