1KwHr = 1Kw * 1Hr

1KwHr = 1000W * 60*60 seconds

1KwHr = 3.6 * 10^6 Joules

P = W / t

1 watt is the power of an appliances which consumes energy at the rate of 1 joule per second.

ishita164: can you pls explain me this pls

Answer:

  • The relation between kWh and joule - 1 kWh = 3.6 \times  10^6J
  • 1 watt power is defined as the power produced when 1 Joule of work is done for 1 second.

Explanation:

The kilowatt-hour commonly written as kWh is a unit of energy. It is commonly used as a billing unit for energy delivered to consumers by electric utilities.

1 KWh is defined as the 1000 J energy is used in 1 hour.

Watts are the SI unit of power.

kWh is a commercial unit.

1kWh = 1kW x 1h

1kWh = 1000 W x 3600 s

1 kWh =1000 js^-1 \times 3600 s

1 kWh = 3.6 \times  10^6J
