Two features of mangrove trees  are :-

1. Mangrove forests grown inter-tidal coastlines, they are inundated by sea water.

2. The trees have high salt tolerance, fosses aerial roots to collect oxygen.

What are mangroves ?

These trees contain a complex salt filtration system and complex root system to cope with salt water immersion and wave action. They are adapted to the low oxygen conditions of waterlogged mud.
