    raoult's law  : -  law stating that the freezing and boiling points of an ideal solution are respectively depressed and elevated relative to that of the pure solvent by an amount proportional to the mole fraction of solute.

RAOULTH'S LAW => it stats that for a solution of volatile liquids the partial vapour pressure of each component in the solution is directly proportional to its mole fraction
