It took 2 years 11 months and 18 days to draft indian constitution. It all started with the election of president of constituent assembly. Thereafter, a draft constitution was proposed followed by debates on every provision of constitution. Finally objections and ammendments were called form people of india. Finally after all procedure constitution was adopted.
