In the leaf of banana plant a single midrib extends from each end of the petioles a d the laminar veins runs from the midrib to the edges of the leaf. So the entire leaf is seperated into two different halfs and is symmetrical about the centre axis. Now what is venation in a leaf? Venation is the pattern of the leaf in a plant and in a peeper plant the leaves of pepper are petiolate, simple, alternate, limbo hard, oval and leathery.
