i wish to bring to your notice a serious situation that is taking place daily from Monday to Saturday, In
hont of our school sex school, stolim As you know the main road from Mapusa to Morjim, runs directly
in front of the school compound wall and gate Everyday at 2 pm when school closes, this serious
problem is experienced and only you can provide solution to it
Scheel having ended, the children are tired and hungry. Those who travel by the school buses do not
venture outside the gate. Those who walk home have to compete with impatient drivers of four wheelers
and riders of two wheelers who do not seem to care either for the safety or even the lives of these little
ones who are so predous to us. As you must have realized by now, there is an urgent need for the
presence of a uniformed police officer to supervise the safe crossing of children across the busy road and
to regulate the smooth flow of traffic and students who are sometimes alone with friends or even with
parents or are takers
therefore, humbly request you to provide a policeman during this time only let us not wait for any
serious mishapło take place Prevention is the best remedy. The school authorities, PTA and all like
minded citizens will be very grateful for this service
