= (4.5)÷ 5  meters

= 0.9 meters

= 0.9 x 100 centimeters    [ Since 1 m = 100 cm]

= 90 centimeters

Therefore , the length of each part of cloth =90 centimeters

Hence, each friend got 90 centimeters.
