On expanding, the equation becomes
2x² + x - 6
This equation can now be seen in form ax² + bx + c
Now,
Sum of roots = -b/a
                      = -1/2

& Product of roots = c/a
                              = -6/2 = -3

Heya,

Here is the required solution:-

2(x^2-3)+x can be simplified as:

2x^2-6+x

= 2x^2+x-6

This is an quadratic equation of the form ax^2+bx+x

So ,
The Sum of the zeros = Alpha + beta

= -b/a

= -1/2

The product of the zeroes = Alpha×beta

= c/a

=-3

Hope it helps u...
