Sum of ages of mother adn hervson 60.After 15 years, mother's age will be twice as his son's age at that time. Find their present ages

Let the present age of mother be x years, and her son be y years.

As per question:-

X+Y = 60 -(equation 1)

After 15 years :-

Mother's Age = x+15

Son's Age = y+15

As per question:-

2(x+15) = y+15 -(equation 2)

Solving above equations we will be getting the values of x & y. I.e the present ages of mother and her son.
