Let the multiples are :-
8x, (8x+8) and (8x+16)

8x + 8x +8 +8x + 16 = 888
8x + 8x + 8x + 8+16 = 888
24x + 24 = 888
24x = 888 -24
24x =864
x =

Multiples are :-
8x = 8 ×36 = 288
8x + 8 = 288 + 8 =296
8x + 16 = 288 + 16 =304

according to question ,
8x + 8(x + 1) + 8(x + 2) = 888
=> 8x + 8x + 8 + 8x + 16 = 888
=> 24x + 24 = 888
=> 24x = 888 - 24
=> 24x = 864
=> x = 864/24
=> x = 36
Hence , 1st multiples of 8 = 8 × 36 = 288
2nd multiples of 8 = 8(36 + 1)
= 8 × 37
= 296
3rd multiples of 8
= 8(36 + 2)
= 8 × 38
= 304
