In the poem the author praises and appreciates the bee which wakes up every morning and collects honey from flowers. The poet appreciates the way with which she makes her house, spreads the wax, and works hard to store the food.
Then the poet says that he should too be busy with work as he knows that an empty mind is devil's workshop. He believes he should not sit idle too. He should read good books or play games and this way his life should pass and at the end he would justify his life for good.
