In the chapter the narrator's desire to express herself grew a lot.Her parents now wanted to give her education which was very difficult.Her mother's only hope came from the Dickens's American notes.In the summer of 1886 her parents took her to an eyespecialist in Baltimore.There they met Dr.Chisholm and he futher advised them to meet Dr.Alexander graham bell in washington for her education.Dr. Alexander suggested to the narrator's father to consult Mr.Anagnos, the director of Perkins institution for the blind in boston.He found a teacher for helen whose name was Miss Anne Sullivan.This made the narrator realise that knowledge is supreme power,it is love,light and vision.
