or loss percent?

Sunita buys a bag of potatoes for Rs 600 and sells it at Rs 900

so , cost of price is 600

And selling price is 900

Need to find

Is it loss or profit .

Loss = 900-600 ( it's loss because the selling price is higher than cost of prize )

900 - 600 = 300

Loss percentage formula : Loss % = 100 × Loss/Cost Price.

Loss % = 100 × Loss/Cost Price.

Loss % = 100 × 300/600

Loss % = 30,000 / 600

Loss % = 50 %
