Susgma bought a saree from the mall. she paid Rs 2640 for it. When she came home she measured the length of the saree and found that the saree was half metre less in length than what the shopkeeper had told her. She found that she is at a lost of Rs 220 because of this. What is the length of the saree she brought home?

According to the problem
price of half metre of saree = rs220
price of 1 m of Saree = rs440
length of saree = 2640/440
= 6m
but she found that half metre was missing
so length of her saree = 5.5m
