In the figure flag pole is AB, BC is tower and CD is base.

In △ACD,

⇒  tan60o=DCAC

⇒  60=9AC

∴   AC=93m

In △DBC,

⇒  tan30o=DCBC

⇒  31=9BC

∴   BC=39=33m

⇒  AC=AB+BC

⇒  AB=AC−BC

⇒  AB=93−33=63m

∴  Height of the flag pole is 63m and that of tower is 33
