Newtons first law of motion states that when an object is in motion along a straight line or at rest, it will tend to stay as it is until compelled to an external unbalanced force.
eg: a car in motion, a ball at rest, etc

Newtons second law of motion states that the force applied is proportional to rate of change of momentum.

Newtons third law of motion states that for every action there is equal and opposite reaction.
eg: recoil velocity of gun, frictional force etc

FIRST LAW ●F M●TI●N
Application of first law ●f m●ti●n:

1. It is due to the first law of m●tion that we don’t have to keep pedaling all the time while cycling on a horizontal road. The cycle will move s●me distance even when n●t pedaled.

2. Dust from carpet can be removed by beating it is als● an application of first law of motion.

Second Law of Motion
Application of second law of motion:

1. We know h●w much force is required to accelerate a body of known mass in a given interval of time with the application ●f this law.

2. It is this law that explains how we move a body, stop it, change its direction of motion or even change its shape ●r size.

Third Law of Motion
Newton’s third law of motion is applicable wherever there is acti●n-reaction force pair.

1. We use it while walking ●n the road.

2. Propulsion of rocket is an application of the third law of moti●n.
