'Teenagers should be free to do what they like'. Express your views either for or against this statement.

Since you asked “Either for or against”, I am against this.

Here are my views.

In teenage, the mind starts developing and we are not able to distinguish between good or bad. We want freedom in teenage. That's a natural phenomena so we can't stop that feeling but if a teenager is given freedom, then he/she can destroyer his/her life.

Teenagers get addicted to drugs faster than adults. If they are given freedom, then, as I stated earlier that teenagers don't have the sense of good or bad, can be addicted to drugs. Thus it can ruin their life.

Teenagers also want to be with friends mostly. Teenage is the age when mind usually gets attracted towards bad things and bad company even if it knows that it's bad. If we are given freedom, then naturally we will attracted to bad people, bad company ruining their own life.

So I think that teenagers should not given complete freedom BUT since their brain wants freedom and if not given can become frustrated so I think a little freedom can be given. Like going out with friends but return at a specific time. Parents need to guide their children in this age. They should concentrate more on children than their work.


That's my view.
