Sammakka Saralamma Jatara is a tribal festival, held at about 100km from Warangal city. It is the time for the largest tribal congregation in the world, held every two years (biannual), with approximately ten million people converging on the place, over a period of four days.

Jataras is the religious fair which take place every Year in Telangana. The Sammakka Saralamma Jaatara is celebrated in a village identified as Medaram in Warangal district. This biennieal Jaatara draws the greatest number of followers after the Kumbh Mela. While Jataras are the predominantly tribal celebration, even non-tribals visit Medaram in large numbers.
