→He is the national poet of Bangladesh.His major works are in Bengali. He is a writer and musician as well.

→ He was born on 25th may, 1899 in Asansol.

→He is the son of Kazi Faqeer Ahmad and Zahida Khatun.

→He wrote many poems with religious devotion and those which rebelled against oppression.

→He was popularly known as Nazrul and Rebel poet.
