= (3+√7)² / 3²-(√7)²

= 3²+(√7)²+2(3√7) / 9-7

= (9+7+6√7) / 2

= (16 + 6√7) / 2

Now taking 2 as common from numerator:

= 2 (8+3√7) / 2

==> 8 + 3√7

So, value of a = 8; and b = 3
