(2) Liquid: In liquids , molecules are loosely packed. So , they have fixed volume but no fixed shape. They take the shape of the container in which it is filled.

(3) Gas: In gases , molecules are far apart from each other. So , neither they have fixed shape nor they have fixed volume.
