nerve is the basic unit of nervous system.

it transmits the impulse to target organs

there are three types of nerves.,

1. sensory/ afferent nerves - carry information to brain
2. motor / efferent nerves  - bring information from brain
3. mixed nerves - they both carry and bring info.
