1.Terrorism is the use of fear and acts of violence in order to intimidate societies or governments.

2. Many different types of socialor political organizations might use terrorism to try to achieve their goals. People who do terrorism are called terrorists.

3.Terrorism in India, according to the Home Ministry, poses a significant threat to the people of India. Terrorism found in India includes ethno-nationalist terrorism, religious terrorism, left wing terrorism and narco terrorism.

4.A common definition of terrorism is the systematic use or threatened use of violence to intimidate a population or government for political, religious, or ideological goals.

5.Terrorism is an anxiety-inspiring method of repeated violent action, employed by (semi-) clandestine individual, group or state actors, for idiosyncratic, criminal or political reasons, whereby the direct targets of violence are not the main targets. The immediate human victims of violence are generally chosen randomly (targets of opportunity) or selectively(representative or symbolic targets) from a target population, and serve as message generators. Threat and violence-based communication processes between terrorist organisation, victims, and main targets are used to manipulate the main target (audience(s)), turning it into a target of terror, a target of demands, or a target of attention, depending on whether intimidation, coercion, or propaganda is primarily sought.

Terrorism has become a threat to Indian peace and security.

Terrorist occurrences result in many economic and social penalties.

• It harms the infrastructure, biological loss, environmental damages, loss of self-assurance in the market and government, social distraction, failure of banking, trade, and supply system.

• Terrorist acts can cause undulate effects through the economy that have undesirable impacts. The most evident is the direct economic destruction of goods and lives.
