here we get a rational number when 2+\sqrt {3} is multiplied by 2-\sqrt{3}

===> 2+\sqrt{3} × 2-\sqrt{3}

===>{2}^{2} - ( \sqrt{3}^{2})

===>4-3

===>1

so the rationalizing factor of 2+\sqrt{3} is 2-\sqrt{3}
