Length = 80 m

Breadth = 65 m

Area of the garden = length × breadth

= 80×65 = 5200 m sq.

New Length = 80 + 5 + 5 = 90 m

New Breadth = 65 + 5 + 5 = 75 m

So, the area of garden along with the path = 90 × 75 = 6750 m sq.

Thus the area of the path = 6750 - 5200 = 1550 m sq.

Let ABCD be the garden

➛Area of a garden = L×B

➛80×65

➛5200 m²

─━━━━━━⊱✿⊰━━━━━━─

Now, Length of rectangle= PQ =5+80+5=90m

Breadth of the rectangle = QR =5+65+5=75m

Area of rectangleq PQRS = 90×75 m²

➛6750 m²

─━━━━━━⊱✿⊰━━━━━━─

Area of path=Area of rectangle PQRS- Area of rectangle ABCD

➛(6750-5200) m²

➛1550 m²

{\boxed{\green{\sf{Area\:of\:path\:is=1550\:sq.m}}}}
