\huge\bold{QUESTION:-}

The ages of two friends Ani and Biju differ by 3 years. Ani's father Dharama is twice as old as Ani and Biju is twice as old as his sister Cathy. The ages of Kathi and Dharama differ by 30 years.Find the ages of any and Biju ?

\huge\bold{ANSWER:-}

Let Ani's age be 'x' years

Let Biju's age be 'y' years

Let Dharma's age be 'a' years

Let Cathy's age be 'b' years

x - y = 3 --(1)

a = 2x --(2)

2b = Y --(3)

a - b = 3 (given in question)

Putting --(2) and --(3)

2x-y/2= 30

4x-y=60 --(4)

From --(1) and --(4)

4(3+y) - y =60

12+4y-y= 60

y=16 yrs

Putting the value of y in --(1)

x-16=3

x=19 yrs

Putting x and y in --(2) and --(3)

We get

a=38 years

B =8 years

Therefore

➡️Age of Ani is 19 years

➡️Age of Biju is 17 years
